Extremely fine and rare 1700s French armorial intaglio seal fob pendant. Beautifully crafted this seal features a coat of arms with a moon, stars, and a cross as well as many other lovely features. It is made of cut steel and could be from a church or abbey. It is a true gem for collectors of vintage seals as well as collectors of antique jewelry. The seal matrix is about .75" wide and .90" long. It stands at 1.1" tall. This piece is perfect to use as a seal and or wear as a piece of jewelry. Just a beautiful piece of history. These are some of the hardest seals to find. Found in Provence.
