Stunning French antique 1800's timeworn reliquary box. This is a glass lid box with beautiful embelishments. The lid is embellished with tiny beads, gilt paper and a religious vignette. The sides are all blue and embelished with silver paper cutwork. The lid is securely attached to the base. Boxes like these were once used to display treasures of the utmost religious importance. A lot of craftmanship and time went into creating this one and it is stunning. It measures approximately 4.75" x 3.25" x 1".
