Beautiful 1800s (possibly earlier) French giltwood fragment. This gently timeworn piece was most likely part of a larger work of art, as there is still one original nail sticking out of it. It is a delicate gilt wood hand-carved fragment. Purchased in Provence, this piece is perfect as a home accent or a unique addition to one's curated collection. This piece can also be used to create an objet d'art. It measures approximately 8" x 3.75" x 1.9" and is a lovely display piece to hang or lean. Antique pieces like these are getting harder and harder to find. Please note that there is wear consistent with age as it is over 150 years. Sold as found.
