Beautiful 1800's French gilt wood Rosette fragment on an acrylic block. This is a gently timeworn piece that was part of a larger work of art. You can see on the bottom where it must have attached to something. It is a delicate gilt wood hand carved rosette. Purchased in Provence this piece is perfect as a home accent or as a unique addition to one's collection of curated finds. This piece can also be used to create an objet d'art. The acrylic block measures 3" x 3" x 1" and is a lovely display piece. Antique pieces like these are getting harder and harder to find. Please note that there is wear consistent with age as it is over 150 years.
