Beautiful late 1700s early 1800s French religious icon of St John Baptist. I can't be sure of the date but I would say late 1700s however I always err on the side of caution when it comes to dating things. Darling embossed iron frame that I have not cleaned as I just love the patina. This piece measures 3.75" x 2.75" x .35" and is in FABULOUS condition. The colors are stunning and really vibrant given its age.
