Beautiful 19th century French religious icon. Darling gold painted metal frame with grapes and leaves. I have not cleaned this piece as I just love the patina. This piece measures 6.5" x 4.5" x .35" and is FABULOUS condition with original glass that needs a wee bit of cleaning but given it's age I am not surprised. The back is an old chip board held in place with cotton thread. There appears to be some of the original prongs underneath that held the backing in place but I didn't take it apart to see how many were still there. Overall just a darling piece of history.
