Beautiful 19th century French religious icon in RED VELVET. Darling Red Velvet frame with what I think is metal trim on all the corners. Either that or it is a REALLY STIFF silver trim. I have not cleaned this piece at all. I just removed some of the lint. This piece measures 5.5" x 4." x .35" and is FABULOUS condition with original glass which actually looks pretty clean. The back is an old black board that bends so it can also be used as an easel. The black board appears to be glued in place. The piece hangs with a metal ring where the thread is. Overall just a darling piece of history and the fact that it is RED VELVET makes it even better. .
