Beautiful 1800's French gilt wood pediment. This gently timeworn piece was most likely part of a larger work of art. You can see on the back where it has been repaired and must have attached to something. It is a delicate gilt wood hand-carved piece. Purchased in Provence, this piece is perfect as a home accent or a unique addition to one's curated collection. This piece can also be used to create an objet d'art. It measures approximately 9" x 8.75 x 1.75" and is a lovely display piece to hang or lean. Antique pieces like these are getting harder and harder to find. Please note that repairs and wear are consistent with age as it is over 150 years. Sold as found.
