Antique French fabric box with metallic gold trim. Fabric boxes like these have been made in France for a few centuries. This one has a pretty floral cover and base. Around the edges on both the top and bottom where the two pieces meet when closed are bands of gold metal trim. The top of the box is padded and slightly raised. The bottom of the box has antique tissue in it. The inside of the box is overall yellow.
