Rare antique French "PENSIONNAT STE MARIE TULLE" notebook dated 1865-1866. Translated that means "STE MARIE TULLE BOARDING SCHOOL". This is a lovely piece of history. A student's notebook from the 1800s while they attended boarding school. The school is still there in Tulle however it is no longer a boarding school. The covers are of brown floral embossed paper with gilt lettering. The binding is still attached and firm. The inside is filled with beautiful scriptwriting. This notebook came to me in a huge lot of French notebooks. Inside we found a picture postcard and some kind of business card. There is so much that can be done with these papers. These are perfect for crafting all sorts of things. Unlimited possibilities and each book is full. Keep it as it is or take it apart. The notebook measures 6" x 7.5". This is an antique almost 180 years old. Wear commensurate with age.
