Antique 19th century linen and hemp sack from France. Absolutely fabulous piece with a few holes. This sack has the same printing on both the front and the back. It measures approximately 42" long X 23" wide. I can think of so many uses for this piece. It would make an ideal bolster or cushion cover for a bench or sofa. I slide them over the back of my kitchen and dining room chairs and they look wonderful. Please remember that this is not reproduction and it was purchased in Provence France.
