Antique 19th century red striped linen and hemp sacks from France. Absolutely NO patches and darns on these. These have red stripes on both the front and the back. Each one measures approximately 52" long X 21" wide. But remember that is X 2 if you take the sack apart. Each sack is in pretty much mint condition. I can think of so many uses for these. They would make an ideal bolster or cushion cover for a bench or sofa. I slide them over the back of my kitchen and dining room chairs and they look wonderful. Please remember that these are all old so they have the best darns and patches ever. These are not reproductions and they were purchased in Provence France.
