Antique French art/paint box filled with assorted sewing supplies. This was part of a very large private collection we were able to purchase. While the art supplies are long gone the box is still in fantastic condition given its age of almost 125 years. The box has been filled to the hilt with all sorts of French sewing supplies. There are threads, buttons, cutwork pieces, ribbons and so much more. I did not remove the items to count any of them. The box is fairly large measuring 12" x 8" x 2" and has one compartment. There used to be a handle for carying the box but it is long gone. There are however two slides. One on each side for closing and securing the box. This is an original from France and includes everything you see in the box.
