Beautiful 1800s hand-carved wooden winged angels. Both angels were part of a larger architectural pediment. The larger polychrome angel measures 6" x 5.25". A hook has been added to the back for hanging. The smaller sold angel is 4.5" x 2.4". It does not have a hook on the back, but it should be easy enough to add one for hanging. Both of these exquisite pieces were purchased in Provence from a monastery collection and are stunning pieces of antique French craftsmanship.
