By far the oldest font I have ever had. This is a beautiful Antique French holy water font with porcelain font is circa late 1700's to very early 1800's. This piece has double glass on the front which is intact surrounded by an ornate woodworking which you can see that over time has fallen away. It is wall mountable with a small nail for hanging. This is all original and other than clean the front glass I have done nothing to it. I thought about recovering the back with paper of the same period but decided to leave it as is for sales purposes. However, I will include a piece of 1700's paper which can easily be adhered to the back. I think this is in wonderful condition given it is approximately 300 years old. A real piece of history indeed. This piece measures 8.5" x 5.75".
