Beautiful antique French miniature botanical painting. I think it is signed with a single initial "H" but I can't read it. The painting is in the original wood frame, complete with glass which shows no signs of damage. Around the oval glass covering the botanical is an additional brass frame. There is very very old French Paper on the back so I was unable to open the piece to examine it more closely. Overall dimensions are 4.25" x 4.8" x .60". The Painting is in excellent condition. I can't be sure but I would say this is circa late mid to late 1800's.
