Antique 1800's French hand-painted long rectangular box. This was probably have been used to store gloves but I think in its later life it was used as a pencil and crayon box. This box is overall a cream color with decorative painting that over the years has faded and worn however it is still in fantastic condition. This box measures 12.5" x 4.8" x 3.25". I can think of so many uses for this darling piece. Found in Provence France.
