Antique French pink sequin bag filled with sewing supplies. This was part of a private haberdashery collection I was able to purchase. While the pouch wasn't originally meant for sewing supplies it sure is a great way to hold them, especially if one is travelling or wants to hide the supplies in plain site. The pouch is pink with hand sewn sequins and the ties are all 1800's metal twist threads with seed bead balls. I am sure this was once someones "out on the town" purse at one time. It is in fantastic condition given its age of almost 125 years. The pouch is filled to the hilt with all sorts of French sewing supplies. This is an original from France and includes everything you see plus more you don't see.
