Rare and beautiful Georgian (Pre-1837) gilt metal fob/seal/pendant with the motto "BEWARE" the snake on it. The stone is black mounted in a gilt metal stem with a loop on the top for a hanging. This seal is adorned with the words "BEWARE" which sits atop a snake in the grass. There is an ornate stem and at the at the top there is a hole through which a necklace can pass so it can be worn around the neck. This is a beautiful antique fob seal pendant. A true gem for both collectors and antique jewelry enthusiasts. It is approximately .50" wide and about .70" long and sits at about 1" tall. This piece is in wonderful condition given its age and it truly is a rare find.
