Beautiful antique hand carved French wood drawer panels. These are original pieces of wood that have been hand carved and used to adorn the fronts of two drawers. Can you see the difference in the two cherubs? This has to have gone to a very old and special piece of furniture as I have several pieces (twelve) and some show where hinges would go. The overall dimensions are 5.5" x 14" x 2". The 2" is the depth of the nose at the tip. This is the original patina as I can see by the back of the wood. You can also see the tongue and groove where the rest of the drawer piece would have been attached.I purchased these pieces in Provence and I was told it was from the from the mid 1800's. Personally I think these are fantastic wall pieces.
