Beautiful antique wooden box From France. This is a great period piece in fantastic condition. I can see no cracks, dings or dents and the lid is securly hinged the old fashioned way with wire. The lock looks to be working as well but we could not find a matching key to fit it. The box measures 10.5" wide x 8,25" deep and 4,5" tall and camae line with an old french letter.
There are a lot of storage as well as display possibilities with this piece. I am not sure what it originally held but I know it can hold a lot. Purchased in Lyon, France.
