Beautiful late 1933 framed dedication to Jesus engraving from Marseille. This is an original engraving in the original frame. A beautiful dedication to Jesus piece of art we found in Provence. The artwork caught my eye, as well as the stamped sacred heart in blue at the bottom. The frame is gilt wood, and the glass is intact. The back is partially covered in a thin pink paper, and there are two eyehooks on either side with old jute for hanging. The frame might have had a hook at the top, but I can't tell because none of the holes where I would think it should be are centered for hanging. This darling piece measures 10.75" x 7.5" x .60". The gilt frame has been careworn and chipped over time. It is a little dusty and needs a good cleaning and a soft brush. The engraving is in wonderful condition, and the color is intact. Another amazing antique from France.
