A beautiful large 19th century French ormolu scroll with a double sided rampart lion. Superbly cast, heavyweight and wonderful quality. This must have come from something very grand. I've left it just as found untouched and original with touches of verdi gris. It would polish if required. The overall piece is 6" x 8" and the patina is perfect. There are plenty of ways to hang this piece although it looks fantastic as a leaning piece as well. This is an original from France and not a reproduction.
