Beautiful and sought after Georgian seal wheel with six different intaglios around the outside and one on either side to the center making a total of 8 intaglios. I love these little wheels. They are so interesting and fun, a must have for any wax seal collection and getting harder to find.
This antique Georgian seal wheel is made from brass or yellow metal, it has 6 seals with mottos. It is approximately 1.6" in diameter. It does has some wear on it due to its age but it is still in VERY good condition.
The intaglios around the outside are as follows -
"God Gives Us" with a cornucopia
"Such is life" with a ship
"Silent" with a bee
"Freindship" with hands
"God give us" with a cornicopia
"Forget me not" with a flower
"Faithful" with a dog
