This is a lovely antique purple French box. It might have been a candy box. Someone has covered the top in antique wallpaper. I can only imagine how people simply "made due" with the things they had and made them work for whatever purpose. This box came to me as is. It measures 7" x 7". The inside has compartments that are filled with a variety of things. The item comes as is with the contents of "fripperies" inside. Personally, y I just love the box. It is darling,
