ORIGINAL and beautiful antique French idyllic Nautical painting from the mid-1800s. This is a wonderful oil on canvas on the original box frame. This is a textured oil painting with the waves raised off the canvas. It gives the piece so much depth. The canvas is attached to the wooden frame with tack nails around the outer edges. This painting is an original oil painting from France signed by MD Meyer. The overall dimensions are 16" x 12" x .5". The .50" accounts for the depth of the boxed canvas.
