I love antique and vintage medals. I just love everything about them. I unpacked these along with these soldiers and thought it fitting to show them together. These are from a large lot we acquired in France. I have not done any research on these medals. However, these are all originals. These are not reproductions. I can imagine them used for a lot of different things including a wall display, ornaments or part of a jewelry composition. These medals are sold individually. The soldiers were purchased in Provence. They are late 1800s to early 1900s. These are composition soldiers which are all hand painted. As you can see they are GREAT for displays. Each piece is about 5.2" tall.
