Beautiful and rare this antique Victorian glass seal features a beautiful motto “AN ILL WIND THAT BLOWS NO ONE GOOD”. I purchased this piece as part of a private collector collection. This truly is a strange and rare motto to have on a seal. It would add a touch of sentimental charm and a bit of sarcasm to any letters. This antique Victorian glass seal is a true gem for collectors. It is .60" tall and .50" wide. There are small cut notches around the entire seal which look beautiful and I almost think they are there to help hold the seal. I can see no wear and it is mint condition. Given its age of almost 185 years this is fantastic. It just needs to be cleaned.
