I am a collector of all different art supplies. Sometimes I think I could open my own art supply store. I happened to unpack a variey of vintage art supplies including these wonderful sets of french pencils.
A. An original set of Marquise pencils which are now no longer available. There is a fabulous story about the founder of this pencil company, Victor Marquise and why this brand is not availble. If you search the site "auxcouleursdalix" under crayons you can read the interesting story. This is a full set of 12 colored pencils in the box. These have been used but it doesn't appear that they were used that much. One end of the box has been torn where the pencils slide out and a piece of the box is missing. All in all these are in fantastic shape.
B. This is a box of Baignol & Farjon 654 which is a set of 12 No 6 Blue pencils. These are new and in the box. I can't see where they have been used at all and the original paperwork is inside with the pencils.
C. This is a box of Baignol & Farjon 622 which is a set of 12 No 2 green pencils. These are new and in the box. I can't see where they have been used at all and the original paperwork is inside with the pencils.
