One-of-a-kind vintage French box made of wood with original markings on top. Found in Provence France. The box is adorned with "ESTABLISHMENTS DU BARBICHET BRIVE MAQRUE DEPOSEE" in brown with a woman in the center. The inside is lined with old blue French paper from the 1800's. The box is in fantastic shape and I can see no issue. The lid easily pops on and off without any trouble at all. This would be beautiful atop a dresser or desk as a catch-all and would look lovely in a stack. I see endless possibilities here. I have it filled with desk supplies which are not included in the box. This box measures 9" x 6" x 3". It is in good antique condition although there is very minor wear commensurate with age, time, and use.
